Olivia Connolly (Founder)

Olivia has been an actor in film, Television and Theatre for many years. Her credits include Warhead, Rooms for Rent, Remembering Nigel, Angry Pinata Comedy Sketches, Blue Heelers, Stingers, Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries, Offspring and Tangle. Olivia has written and produced 2 sitcoms: Pandora’s Box and Clowns.

She is a founding member of the award winning Theatre company Red Stitch. Olivia obtained an Honours Degree from Flinders Drama Centre in South Australia in 1999 and her Diploma of Education in Secondary Drama and History teaching from Melbourne University in 2006. In 2002 Olivia founded Limelight Drama School at a studio in St Kilda. Here she discovered a few child stars and in 2010 took the successful formula into schools.

It was an overnight hit with students, parents and Principals. Limelight Drama transforms children. It develops confidence, creativity, empathy, social skills, aids in literacy, provides professional opportunities through the Limelight agency and is a lot of fun!
